Composed of literally hundreds of pieces of various-wale corduroy, interspersed with plush fabric, this coat is a great example of organic piecework. Cloak and hood are lined in a soft flannel, and a faux pearl snap fastens the throat. Except for the plush, the many different fabrics are 100% cotton. Cold wash, cold rinse, is recommened for cleaning, line dry.

This piece was made as a mock up for one that was executed in blue silk (different weaves and textures) with black silk piping for the accents. So while there is a blue version of this running around the planet somewhere, this piece is still unique, and it is highly unlikely that another version will be produced.

At 52" from shoulder to hem, 55" across the sleeves, and 25" at the base of the hood, this garment needs a Great Wearer of Magnificent Stature, smaller persons may become forever lost within, never to be seen again!
